Commercial Assistant (Fado)



Summary:


This role will be a permanent position based in Northern Ireland, within the Dowds Farrans Joint Venture, Fado.

Fado is a Farrans and Dowds Group Joint Venture which provides a route to market for fit-out opportunities within the UK (primarily London). Experienced in CATA and CATB fit out, to date Fado have worked on projects of significant heritage value, major internal alterations and building repurposing.

The Role:


This role will see you providing back-office support for the busy Commercial Team, a background in Accountancy and or data processing will be key for you to complete the below duties:

  • Reviewing all costs incurred on the Project and production of analysis & reports
  • Collation of Record Sheets and production of analysis & reports
  • Sales Ledger – issuing Sales Invoices and maintaining the Sales Tracker
  • Purchase Ledger – processing supplier and sub-contractor invoices and assisting with payments
  • Carry out weekly timesheet reconciliation between Partner and SPA Timesheet Systems
  • Liaise with team members for missing timesheet data
  • Liaise with all levels of the Construction Team, such as Project Managers and Site Managers
  • Liaison with the Client on Commercial matters, including preparation and submission of supporting information
  • Reaching set targets and working to deadlines
  • All other administration duties as required by Senior Management


Person Specification:


Your required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within Data Collation & processing and invoice processing 
  • Accountancy experience 
  • Competent user of the complete MS office suite
  • Able to work collaboratively in a multi-team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Hold a in GCSE’s English & Maths
