5 New Street Square​

Dowds Group successfully delivered Project Crystal, a prestigious £13.7M commercial fit-out for Taylor Wessing at their London headquarters. Acting as the lead MEP coordinator and installation contractor, Dowds transformed 115,864 sq.ft of premium office space within a live, multi-tenant city-centre environment. ​

The project involved the extensive refurbishment and fit-out across multiple stories. The scope included the creation of a modernised reception area, an outdoor communal terrace, a staff restaurant, a coffee bar, and a presentation suite. To facilitate movement and collaboration, a feature staircase was installed to connect Levels 01 through 04, complemented by a comprehensive M&E package designed to meet the highest standards of the British Council for Offices. Dowds engineered a resilient MEP solution, with the technical delivery requiring meticulous coordination of integrated fire alarms, gaseous suppression for IT environments, and sophisticated N+1 DX cooling systems to ensure business continuity for the client.​
