Dowds Group delivered the full Mechanical & Electrical services for Almac’s new 100,000ft² state-of-the-art multi-product Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility, purpose-built to support material handling, dispensing, blending, tablet compression and tablet coating.

The facility is part of Almac’s global investment plan and was purpose-built to support material handling, dispensing, blending, tablet compression and tablet coating. This highly controlled pharmaceutical environment required the integration of critical M&E systems to support a Full Containment Level 3 (CL3) facility. Extensive specialist ventilation systems were engineered to operate within extremely tight environmental tolerances, ensuring strict regulatory compliance while protecting product integrity and production continuity. Dowds designed and installed critical services to meet the most stringent GMP and ISO requirements – without impacting programme or compromising operational flexibility.
