Dowds Group delivered complex Mechanical & Electrical solutions for Royal Surrey’s new £41.5m facility, creating world-class clinical environments to facilitate 7,000 additional life-saving surgeries annually​.​

Working alongside main contractor MTX Contracts Ltd, Dowds executed the full M&E scope (RIBA Stage 4–5) for this cutting-edge, two-storey modular centre. Designed to host robotic surgical programmes, the project demanded precision engineering to support critical care. The team overcame significant spatial constraints by utilising advanced 3D digital modelling to house high-density systems – including ventilation, medical gas, and power infrastructure – within a compact plant room footprint.​
