Summary:
We are currently seeking a Document Controller to join our London office to work alongside the project team, both on-site and in office and ensure the timely & smooth running of project administration.
The Role:
- General admin support to the project delivery team.
- Managing and entering contractor timesheets.
- Arranging and holding site inductions.
- Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical
- documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Input document data into standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and upto date.
- Set-up, collate, manage, and close out Operations and Maintenance Manuals along with other Handover Documentation.
- Make sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors, and suppliers as applicable.
- Maintain the documents and drawings in the document control office and sure they are under safe custody to avoid any damage or deterioration.
- Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
- Assist with internal and external phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Filing, archiving and retrieval of documents and conformance to company procedures.
- Collate all works information for jobs.
- General admin duties, including: Ordering Stationery / sundry items, Report creation, Printing, Binding, Laminating, Meeting organisation
- Ad hoc duties as required.
- Assistance with Office Maintenance
Person Specification:
The candidate will be self-motivated, with strong team working attributes, have the ability to analyse a problem and develop a solution and manage the works to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently, a dynamic professional approach and high self-conduct standards will be expected at all times.
