Dowds Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality management efforts. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
· Implement and maintain the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and company policies.
· Conduct site inspections and audits to verify quality standards.
· Create and review project-specific quality plans.
· Plan and carry out routine inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.
· Maintain up-to-date records and compile quality reports for senior management.
· Identify and document non-conformance issues, leading investigations and corrective actions.
· Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
· Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
· Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards and best practices.
· Ensure suppliers and subcontractors meet required quality standards.
· Proven experience of quality management within the construction industry.
· Ability to demonstrate a depth of knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
· Excellent communication Skills
· Leadership skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
