Dowds Awarded M&E Contract with London School of Economics and Political Science at 35 Lincoln’s Inn Fields

We’re thrilled to announce that Dowds has been appointed to deliver the M&E package on a landmark retrofit project for the The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

 

Working alongside McLaren Construction Group as Main Contractor, the project will see the retrofit and extension of an existing 1950s building to create the new 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗼𝘇 𝗟𝗮𝗹𝗷𝗶 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝘂𝗯 a transformational space for learning, collaboration, and global engagement.

 

The scheme is as a sustainability flagship for the LSE, targeting:

 

• 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗵𝗮𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
• 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴
• 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱

 

Ambitious targets have been set in relation to water use and recovery, with predicted embodied carbon and operational energy in line with the UK Net Zero Carbon Pilot guidance.
