Dowds are thrilled to deliver the M&E package for SDC Builders Ltd on the new Passivhaus residential student campus at St Edmund Hall, one of University of Oxford‘s oldest colleges.
The project consists of 128 study bedrooms and communal facilities housed in a mixture of new buildings and a remodelled Victorian villa.
The campus is a much needed resource for the area as it will relieve pressure on Oxford’s rented housing market.
The aim of the development is to create the next generation of sustainable buildings, sympathetic to the environment and the needs of the students.
This project represents a significant milestone in sustainable construction, and we’re proud to contribute to such an iconic building!
